FLL is a nice alternative, and is about a 1 hour drive to Miami.
Hotels
We have booked room blocks at a few hotels in our favorite Miami neighborhood, Coconut Grove! We encourage guests to stay in this lush, coastal area as it is walkable with dozens of delicious restaurants and bars. There are numerous airbnbs and alternate hotel options in the area if you choose to forgo the room blocks. Other convenient neighborhoods to stay in would be downtown, Brickell, or Coral Gables.
Please book early as World Cup Group Stage games begin the following Monday!
